Co-chairman of the Banking Group. Participated in mergers and acquisitions of financial institutions; corporate restructuring and bail-outs; securitization of receivables; active in bank litigation; estate planning and post-mortem estate planning and probate cases; provided legal support and justification for banking and other financial products and services, particularly those offered by the Trust and Investment Departments.

Member of the Tax, Litigation and Banking Groups. Worked on tax assessments and refunds of corporations and individuals; represented foreign corporations in legislative hearings; engaged in banking loan documentation and establishment security interests.

Incorporated non-governmental organizations on housing, such as the De La Costa Housing Project of Freedom to Build; Legal Counsel of Federation of Free Workers; headed the Legal Aid Office and of the Human Rights Center of the Ateneo Law School.

Established the Bank's trust department; took part in the securitization of FNCB's receivables; designed trust arrangements and investment outlets for Land Bank bond holders;
