Prof. Nicasio Cabaneiro is a professor at San Beda College of Law for 33 years handling Taxation Law Review, Taxation I and II, Banking Law, Negotiable Instruments Law, Credit Transactions and Statutory Construction and Legal Accounting. Atty. Nick took his Bachelor in Commercial Science (BCS) degree, major in Accountancy, magna cum laude, at San Beda College on 1967 and passed the CPA Board Exams in the same year. He obtained his LL.B. degree, cum laude, in 1973, and earned his LL.M. degree in 2006, both at San Beda College. Atty. Nick started his teaching career at San Beda College in 1974.

He is a lecturer in Taxation in the Pre-Bar Programs of San Beda, Arellano Law School, University of Manila, Cosmopolitan Review Center and Pamantasan ng Maynila.

Prof. Nicasio Cabaneiro was an auditor at Sycip, Gorres, & Velayo from 1967-1969 and a tax lawyer from 1974-1976 from the same company. He served as Corporate Counsel of Bancom Development Corporation from 1976-1977; Executive Assistant and Head of the Accounting Department of Filipinas Life Assurance Company from 1977-1979; General Counsel at Union Carbide Philippines Incorporated from 1979-1982; Vice President of Bank of the Philippine Island, a position he assumed when he retired on January 2007.

Presently, he is a tax and legal consultant of National Reinsurance Corporation of the Philippines, Asiatrust Development Bank and Automobile Association of the Philippines.
